Uni in Australia?

Is there a brittish citizen here who has recently applied and been successful at getting into an australian uni?

if yes, what did you have to do? e.g what procceses.

also- how much has it cost you?

i suppose what im really looking for is the fact that there is a chance i'll be successful!

  1. Most Australian Universities take full-fee-paying students. Its not cheap, but certainly available.

    Just start searching the net for Australian Universities and take it from there.

    If you're smart enough to get a degree, you should be smart enough to do this.


  2. I was a uni student in Australia in the past 6 years and I used to hold a British National Overseas Passport.

    It was a piece of cake with uni appliation/enrolment.

    You have to contact the correspondent agency of that aussie uni in your country, they do most of the things for you. Yes, Australian unis charge non-local students a lot more as they're 'full-fee paying' ie. not funded by the Commonwealth Australian government.

    It depends on what course you want to enrol in, the entry points are all different. But having studied for 6 years here, I know that they're quite easy on foreign students, because they pay more to study here...
