Unicellular Organism?

I know unicellular means one cell, but does a unicellular organism mean an organism made up of many of the one type of cell, or an organism made up of only one cell?

  1. Unicellular organisms comprise only one cell. Presently they are classified into two kingdoms: as under

    Kingdom Monera:: Unicellular Prokaryotic organisms. Example; all types of Bacteria.

    Kingdom Protista:: Unicellular Eukaryotic organisms like Amoeba, Euglena etc.


  2. It only means that it's made of one cell.

  3. it mean one cell that it. one kind unique. multicellular could be 10 cells of the same type no matter how many !!!!
