The hosts’ skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ateeq-Javid-c1104 expected the pitch to favour the batsmen and had no hesitation in his mind to bat first after winning the toss. His decision proved terribly wrong, as the entire team was dismissed below 100 runs in the match.
Warwickshire 2nd XI’s miserable start put the team under immense pressure straight away. Opener Jonathan http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Webb-c96407 and first-drop S Hain were sent back to the pavilion with no run on the board.

Javid also failed to lead his side out of trouble, as he was the fourth wicket to fall in the innings. He managed just 1 run off 8 balls in his struggling outing.
Steffan Piolet looked well set at the crease, as he was finding the gaps in the field with ease. However, he failed to make most of the start to his promising innings. He got out after collecting 23 runs off 27 balls with the help of a couple of fours and
the same number of sixes.
Ben http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Williams-c98034 limped to 3 runs off 17 balls before being dismissed. He was followed by Tom Allin, who scored 11 runs from 23 deliveries.
Coleman tried to steady the innings, but was running out of partners quickly at the other end. He was the eighth wicket to fall in the inning after adding 37 runs to the total off 63 balls with the help of five boundaries.
Unicorns A’s http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Adam-James-Syddall-c41920 was in devastating form, picking up 4 wickets in the match, restricting the opposition to 96 all out.
It was hard for the Warwickshire 2nd XI bowlers to defend the below par total. They failed to take early wickets, as the opposition’s openers Thornely and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/James-Robert-Alexander-Campbell-c66044 collected 60 runs for the first wicket.
The latter got out after contributing 20 runs to the total and was followed by a couple of more wickets.
