Uniden wdect 2135 twin

Question

We had a power cut while I was out and I have come home to find when I go to use the phone it says out of range and if you phone in it will only ring on the land line not the cordless.
I have recently installed a broadband modem so do not know what I should do.

Could you please help with this.
