Uninstall sims 2 seasons.?

Question

OK, so i just installed the sims 2 seasons and while loading it for the first time, the application crashed. i had a family on the game before that though. if i uninstall the game will the family be gone?

actually, im not sure, i had read the question wrong but you dont have to reinstall it, i dont think , cause that happened to me. just take the disc out, then put it back and play!

you have to copy all the files to a back up disc, like a cd writh or cd rewrite type of thing.

You should've backed up your game before installing the expansion pack.  Backing up is recommended prior to installing new expansion and stuff packs just for reasons like this.

You could look in your game's files, although with so many in there, it would be near impossible to pick out the correct files for that family.

Try restarting your computer, then loading the game.  Sometimes that might help.  If you have a Downloads folder with any custom content files in it, take it out.  Just move the whole folder to your desktop.  Those files can sometimes interfere with new packs.

If these don't help, check over at the sims2.com BBS.  Most of the people there have experienced the same issue you have.  I'm sure they have answers there.
