Uninstalling AVG8

Question

I tried to uninstall avg8 and it was uninstalled but finally a window which needs
confirmation to finish and reboot the computer but I didn't want
to reboot by that time and did not check the box to reboot. I
simply clicked to finsh.
Another time when i tried to install another anti virus it says first
you have to remove avg8 from the pc. when I check in program files
there is no avg8 there.So how can i remove it and able to install the
new software?
