Uninstalling old GPU drives?

i just replaced my ATI 9250 with a Power Color HD 2400 Pro and i was told that i need to uninstall the 9250 drivers before i install the 2400 pro's drivers....where will i find all of the 9250's stuff that i need to uninstall?

  1. you should just be able to install the new drivers without uninstalling old ones as the PC will know its a diffrent card and will refuse to use the other drivers

    but if you mean the ati software its self goto control panel then choose add remove programs and select ati labeled programss and choose remove or install which ever option you get

    Edit: just looked and your new card it is also a ati radeon famaly card so just put new card in and run the cd that came withit it  will update all the old ati software as necassery and remove unneeded  software on its own being that it was also a ati card

  3. If your trying to uninstall your previous drivers, downloading driver cleaner professional is a safe and easy way of doing so.
