Unintended eye illusions, check it out! ?

Okay so look at this: [[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]...

Now lean back in your chair and look. To me the ones opening the right ([[[[[) look dark blue while the ones opening to the left (]]]]]) look black. My eyes are playing tricks on me! Are they playing tricks on you?
