Union Jak Jakson likely to dominate Bettor.com Social Betting Seniors Trophy
Union Jak Jakson is expected to dominate proceedings in the Bettor.com Social Betting Seniors Trophy at Peterborough in England on Wednesday, April 25, 2012. The triumphant hound will be awarded a cash prize of £500.
The 420 metres flat race, which is scheduled to start at 20:00 GMT, has attracted six quality runners and their names are as follows: Union Jak Jakson, Fifis Rocket, Geralds Gift, Night Flash, Chicago Prince and Monleek Bay.
The bookmakers have shown full confidence in the abilities of Union Jak Jakson, as he is a very good runner and has got plenty of experience in the sport. His recent performances have also been impressive, thus the punters might also place the maximum number
of bets in his favour.
Union Jak Jakson has been taking part in quite a few trial runs and his performances in them have been quite impressive. His race form is also good, as he was victorious in his previous Grade OR event.
Despite not being the favourite in that event, the A Clarke’s trainee stormed to victory by six and a half lengths. He was dominant right from the start of the race and did not allow anyone else to come closer. If he gets a clear run today, he will once
again make life difficult for his opponents.
The black and white dog is the son of Brett Lee out of Zina Marina and was born in November 2007.
On the other hand, Fifis Rocket might also attract a few bets in his favour, as he is a decent performer. However, victories have dried up for him in recent times and he will need a special effort in order to finish on top of the table.
The C. Allsopp’s trained hound finished fourth in his previous race, which shows that he is struggling for form at the moment. He is a quality runner though and can break the shackles in the race at Peterborough today.
Fifis Rocket is the son of Brett Lee out of Droopys Ruby and was born in January 2008.
Other than the top two favourites, Geralds Gift might also manage to make an impression in the race whereas the rest of the hounds are expected to struggle.
