Union Pacific Train Service vision requirements?

Hi i received a conditional offer from Union Pacific for train service in Arkansas i'm worried that one of my eyes has 20/50 the other is 20/40 will this disqualify me i wear glasses to correct it . Also i'm a type 2 diabetic but it's controlled will they disqulify me on this as well

While I can't give you a straight anwer on how bad your eyes can be and still pass the vision test. I can tell you that you may not be color blind and get into train service. This will be tested by the Company for as long as you work there.

No your glasses are fine.Your diabetes is ok too as long as it can be controlled with your medicine.
