Union Pacific Train service?

Question

Right now I'm looking to work for Union Pacific riding on the train. Was wondering if anyone here does train service for UP. If so, any information about pay, hours, or what you do would be appreciated. Looking to work in Eugene, Or. I already know your on-call pretty much and have 90 mins to get to work. Dont know much else. Anything appreciated. Thanks.

It's a life like no other. You can be away from home any time and any day. You have no set days off, and no set hours. If you have a wife and kids it'll be extremly hard on your family life. If you dont you can make a ton of money.

It's a tough lifestyle and not many people can handle it. If you can move to another state, California, and Nebraska are where the big hiring pushes are at right now. Go to www.uprr.com and look at the current openings for jobs available.

Well I cant help you much on the UP, You might have some luck with this website. It shows where UP is currently hiring. It looks like the only places in Oregon needing Train Service is Hinckle and Portland or if you are willing to move California has lots of openings.
