I was surfing the Internet, you know, looking for a job, and I came across the page below, which lead my to this question.

  1. yes. because a group of oppressed workers are more effective in handling and voicing out their concerns.

    a company would only seek to maximize its profits, no matter what the cost.

    and why would a company give a raise, ensure the welfare of the workers, take care of their medical and insurance needs when no one is brave enough to fail a class action suit?

    who would conduct the dialog? the bargaining?

    so this is where the union would come in.

    we need unions.

  3. A good idea, but it won't work.  The workers are at minimum wages now and paying the union to belong to it would dip to heavily into their paycheck.
