Unipolar Disorder or Major Depressive Disorder?

i know doctors HATE their patients trying to self diagnose, lol, but i dont have anything else to do so, is unipolar the same as major depressive disorder? because i have both symptoms, so i am very unsure

  1. unipolar means it is not bipolar which means you have the depression without the mania which makes it clinical depression.


  2. Simple answer...yes, Unipolar is major depressive disorder!
