Unique Houseplant? What kind of plant is it?

I got a plant as a gift. It is odd. It requires medium light and just to be kept moist. That is all it said on the tag along with unique houseplant. It looks like a baked potato standing upright with 4 stems? growing out the top with one leaf on each one. The base (the potato part) has some circles on it

Help i know it is a weird description and I've tried to find it on the internet with no luck. Thanks.

Could be an orchid or other air-plant.
