Unique Woe seeking maiden success in Coral On TV Maiden Trophy - Heat 2 at Romford
Unique Woe has not yet opened his account, but showed a lot of class lately. His fresh trip at Henlow was good enough to suggest that the youngster can get off the mark in the Coral On TV Maiden Trophy - Heat 2, to be held at Romford on Monday, October 15th.
The black dog was not impressive on his previous outing here last month. In a 400 metres contest, he baulked at the first bend, and was in no position to make an impression thereafter. As a result, he finished at bottom of the chart.
An awful loss would have dented his confidence to some extent. But the son of Ace Hi Rumble quickly got his act together, and performed magnificently last time out. Henlow’s audience saw the young gun presenting a fascinating show all the way through.
He remained a bit unlucky though, missing the big prize only by a head’s distance. His latest wonderful act has made us believe that the novice can create a lot of problems for his opponents in today’s clash.
Other participants are: Lenson Champ, Sues Rocket, Jaytee Huzzar, Backdoor Selecta and Kay Gee Bee. Just like the first heat, this contest carries a winning prize worth 150 pounds. The show will be initiated at 19:58 GMT.
We don’t expect anything special from Kay Gee Bee, despite the fact that the black dog usually does well in the beginning of the event. D. Mullins’ charge has been struggling for last few weeks.
Sues Rocket made a promising start to the career by winning an A1 event on October 8th. However, he completely failed to build on that, and was trounced at the top level last time.
Backdoor Selecta has never run at Romford, and it could prove costly in this line-up. Lenson Champ, the Puppy Cup finalist, has shown enough to win races. However, his ongoing unlucky spell will prevent the punters from supporting him.
Jaytee Huzzar completed the order of finish on his debut earlier this month. The blue and brindle dog belongs to a good kennel, and can show improvement with more experience.
