Hi, basically, me and my friend have to create a science experiment that will enage the rest of the class, provide great information, and it must NOT last longer than 2 minutes. It is a year 8 class, and we get bored uite easily. P.S, this helps me get put into sets next year, and they do their G.C.S.E's a year early, and I want to be a doctor, so this really helps. We were thinking of doing the volcano experiment, where it explodes with lava, but we want somehting that will involve classmates. Thankyou; please reply A.S.A.P.

  1. Coke (the drink!!) and mentos mints make an interesting volcano experiment. BUT a bit messy.

Can anyone break a piece of spaghetti into two pieces by bending it til it breaks......holding only by the ends? (It virtually always breaks into three pieces!!)

Or you could try some of the experiments in the book "How to Fossilise Your Hamster" by Mick O'Hare and published by the well known organisation "New Scientist". Don't worry, they do not say to use your hamster, it is just a "catchy" title to attract attention.
