  1. Here are some ideas:

For your base, you can get pre-made blank cards and the craft/scrapbook store. From there, you can add stuff to the top.

-How about making the front of the card look like a pumpkin and it could say "Welcome this little pumpkin" (or punkin'), or "A little pumpkin is on the way." You can use pretty fall colors.

-You can make the front look like a ghost and make the face look like a baby. It could say "A new boo!"

-You can make the card one sided and turn it into a magnet. I've done this before and everyone loved them. They put it on the fridge and it reminds them each day of the coming event. You make the card and use a Xyron machine with the magnet cartridge. It will laminate the top and magnetize the bottom. You then cut it out. It's easy and cute.

-Another idea is to make a shaker card. This is where you have confetti sandwiched in between and you can shake the card around. I love these.

The easiest way is to take a blank card and cut it at the fold.

Take the top of the card and the middle portion out to make it a "frame." You can make it a square or rectangle. I would leave at least 1/2" around all sides though.

Buy thin foam board and cut it the same size as the frame you just made.

Glue to foam board down to the bottom of the card.

Put the invitation wording in the open space and then fill with confetti of your choice.

Cut a piece of acetate or clear plastic the same size as the bottom of the card. Glue it to the under portion of the top of the card (this will hold the confetti in).

Decorate the top of the card with stickers, words, etc. and glue it to the foam board.

Let dry. Ask as the craft store what glue to use with the foam board, you will need an aggressive adhesive.

    Good luck!

I vote for the magnet idea or shaker card idea. ;)
