Unique housewares?

Where can I find unique housewares like there is on Fred Flare and Urban Outfitters?

I'm moving to an apartment soon and need to get some things but want my apartment to have some spice!

These are my two favorite places for home stuff:

www.dwr.com (more furniture than decorative but good quality)

I did my living and dining rooms in mid-century modern (I know it's not everyone's taste) and I quickly learned I was paying more for design than pure function -- and these places provided great stuff for me.

What's more spicy than a circular bookshelf!  

Another brand I like for kitchen things and other housewares is Oxo. www.oxo.com  They have super reasonably priced stuff that has a modern look, even if it's made of plastic!
