Unique names for a horse?

Question

I might be getting a horse and i have no idea what to name him. I want it to be very unique, a name that you don't hear everyday.

The horse is a light dapple gray. He is a gelding and a draft cross so he is very stocky. If you need anymore description don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for your input!

Congrats on getting a horse! Well, It's up to you what you wanna name him, I had trouble too when getting my horse. Really good names are Star, Amigo, Sapphire, Rocky, things like that. :)

Some unique names I've heard over the years...

McGuire, Stilts (the horse had long legs), Hooter, Data, Chita, Tequila, Mouse, Deuce, Icky, etc

The most common horse names I've heard are Smokey, Bailey, Chester, Dusty, Teddy, etc.  Most things where you name the horse because of its color are going to be common.

One of my favorite horses was a draft cross named Teton (like the mountains).  I like names of places. My Appaloosa was named Montana (he was named when got him but it was still a cool name).  The horse may already be named. Some of the names I remember from camp follow:  Apollo, Cisco & Pancho, Conan, Marty, Baker, Zack, Paint,   What is the draft crossed with?  that may give you some inspiration. Any literary characters you like BFF calls her dog Scout, but her name is JeanLouise (To Kill a Mockingbird),lotsn of interesting names in Steinbeck's books...TV or movie characters..

Native American names  Apache,Cherokee, Comanche.Navajo,
