Year ago I flew into Chicago on a business trip. While there I was taken to a steak house that I thought was unique. You chose your own steak from a meat counter that looked similar to the ones in the grocery store and then each customer cooked their own meat on one large grill in the center of the room. Baked potatoes and other side dishes were brought to the table to complete the meal. I don’t recall if it was in Chicago, but It was in the area. Does anyone know what the name of this restaurant is and where it is located?

  1. If it was Down-Town Chicago you may have been at The Butcher Shop, it's located in The River North Area, I believe it's the 300 West block on Ontario. If your looking for a good Steak, I would try Gibsons 1028 North Rush Street. There other location is located in Rosemont, IL which is very close to O'Hare Field Airport. I would defiantly go to Gibsons. Enjoy!!
