is there a site that gives you the price per unit from all the energy companys but not a comparison site for switching. some thing wrong with my bills but unable to see why. is it possible that energy companies charge differently depending on post code. as an example I went on holiday for two weeks recently and took readings just before and soon as we came back. turned everything that i could off yet was still using more electric than a colleague of mine who was at home. electric company thought this was ok. I don't see this being poosible.

we average over last six months 15 units a day

  1. You may wish to do an energy audit:

These can range from answering questions at a web site

"What is the temperature setting on your water heater?"

to experts using thermal-infrared camera's and leak-testing your house or apartment.

  2. Did you switch off at the mains? If you did then your meter is obviously faulty.

If you didn't then you obviously left something on like a burglar alarm etc.

Don't know about a comparison site, but would like to know about it if there is.
