Unite the countries of America?

why doesn't the U.S.A try to conquer whole America, making it one whole country. Give them more power and land.

Well, actually, the owners of my country TRIED that - they invaded Canada and got their butts kicked.

And periodically (I think the last time was 1914?  Maybe 1912?) they attack Mexico, and find that they cannot take it over.

Anyway, the time for the U.S. empire has come and gone.  People don't seem to understand that this is what 911 and all of the subsequent events really means.

so your proposing that we invade mexico and canada and dont stop until we control the whol continent, of course it could be done, but one would have to be insane to want to do it, how old are you? are you prepared to fight it? and while your thinking about that please pick up a book or do some research the days of conquest are over and have been for the U.S since the 1800's

Because they are our allies.  

However, remember the Alamo?  Mexico vowed many years ago to take back Texas....and it seems they are slowly but surely doing so (and then some).  This time not by military force but rather by a slow but steady invasion.  It was recently reported that whites will be a minority in the U.S.A. by the year 2043, with Latinos holding the majority.  I am not opposed to immigration (save Native Americans, we all came from somewhere other than "here"), but I shudder at the fact that in certain areas of the U.S. you need to be able to speak Spanish in order to function.  I'm all for providing education and assistance, but we should expect immigrants to assimilate and doing so means learning the native language in my opinion.

But I digress.
