United Arab Emirates (UAE) overcame Uganda convincingly by eight wickets in their ICC Cricket League Division Two fixture, at the ICC Global Cricket Academy in Dubai on Tuesday. Batting first, the visitors were bowled out cheaply for just 86 runs in 34.1
overs and UAE achieved the target in just 17.2 overs, losing two wickets.
The conditions were good for batting, as the wicket didn’t have any pace. Uganda captain Davis Arinaitwe elected to bat first without any hesitation after winning the toss. He expected his team to post a decent total, but the batsmen failed to impress.
Opening batsman Akbar Baig failed to provide a good start to his team, as he was sent back to the pavilion early. The Indian born batsman struggled to score just one run from 18 balls. He was followed by the first-drop http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Hamza-Saleh-c61385, who was run-out without
even facing a single delivery.
Opener Arthur Kyobe took a lot of time to settle down, but he failed to capitalise on the start he got to his innings. The 22-year-old left-hander managed 14 runs off 45 balls before throwing his wicket away.

as he was trapped leg-before-wicket. The only other wicket to fall in the home team’s innings was that of Shaiman Anwar, who scored 15 runs.
