Openers http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shakoor-c89571 at the hands of Amrit Bhattarai in the 5th over. Iftikhar was soon picked up by Basanta
Regmi, and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shaiman-Anwar-Butt-c89533 (9) remained lacklustre.
Skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Rohan-Mustafa-c86538 (12) in the 27th over.
Mohammad Azam (33) top-scored for the team, and his 36-run partnership with Arshad Ali (12*) remained the highest on his side. However, their efforts were not enough to save their team, and following a slew of mediocre performances from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Fayyaz-Ahmed-c56896 (4),
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Asanka-Manjula-Guruge-c46225 (0), the UAE team found themselves all out at 133 by the 41st over.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nepal-c2965, in response, breezed through the chase, and despite the efforts of Guruge (8-2-25-3) and Arshad Ali (10-2-16-2), easily reached 134 within 46 overs, with only 6 wickets down.
Subash Khakurel (1), http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sharad-Vesawkar-c89750

However, Pithu Banskota (15*) took up the responsibility from there onwards, and his unbeaten 22-run stand with Gauchan (8*) got Nepal safely over the finish line, reaching 134 with 4 wickets and 28 deliveries still remaining.
