  1. In order to fly aircraft in USAF there are several things you will have to do. The best thing to do is to get into an Air Force ROTC program.  In order to fly for the Air Force you need to be commisioned and that requires a 4 year degree. Once you graduate and get your commision, you will need to apply for flight school. If you want to fly fighter aircraft, you better be in the top of your class.  It is a very competive. Good Luck.

  2. Listen to the first poster he's right.

  3. First, you must graduate from a four year college, preferally from the Air Force Academy or having completed college level AFROTC.  You will have to be exceptionally physically and mentally fit. You have to do exceptionally well in the Pilot and Navigation Sections on the Air Force Officer Qualification Test.  You need to meet certain physical  requirements -- physical measurements for example; (you cannot be too short or too tall  (IE you have to fit into a cockpit).  Your eye sight and hearing must be very good. If you meet all the physical, academic and moral qualifications for a Commission, you then apply for the Pilot Program.  If accepted, you will get orders to Flight School to learn ground school and flight basics. You will also get many hours in a flight trainer. If you excel here, you will finally get orders to another training squadron that has the type of aircraft you would eventually fly (if you graduate).  A few of these airframes might be, F-15, F-16, F-22, or C-17 training Squadrons.  It takes a LOT of work and decication to make the grade.
