When you graduate, and enlist as a second lieutenant in the marines or as an officer in the navy, is this a good career path? How much do you get paid? What do you have to do to get a promotion?

  1. Yes, it is a very good career path. At the present time maybe not, because of the War on Terror. If you want to fight, than that's up to you. You get $20,000(American) just for signing up. Than I believe you make about $10 an hour. However, as long as you're a good soldiers, you will see fast promotion. The best part is your military education is FREE. You have to serve five years after graduating. Remember the United States Naval Academy is VERY HARD, to get into. Only 5% of the graduating class are foreign students. You can get into any career you want after and the military will pay for schooling (if you're a US citizen.)
