What is right with this country today, i would ask what is wrong but the anwser can only be a thousand characters long. With so many losing their LITTLE PINK HOUSES, did our government reach the amount of rope needed to hang itself? Will any thing change for the better or is the downward spiral on a one way road. Ive lost hope. 1% of our nation owns 95% of the wealth, although its tough to raise your family without it, the only way we can turn is to GOD. There's so much GREED & HATE in the world. Im definately no angel, far from it, but i do have a heart and its hurting. I know its my fault its hurting and i just feel so helpless. So many bad decisions i have made in my life that have brought me to where im at now. So many children die each day from hunger do to politics. Any anwser that would bring a glitter of HOPE would be uplifting.

Unfortunately this country is built on GREED. The only thing right about this country is that you can say what you want & you can be as greedy as you want to be.

As for the country, people bought houses that shouldn't have and banks made loans that they shouldn't have.  After 9/11 stock market tanked but recovered within 6months and we've seen new highs since.  This is something people forget.  Business have cycles of highs and lows and it is normal.  We are at a low will we come back sure we will.  None of these things you can control so why worry.

As for yourself, you need to go out in the world and work for what you want.  We are not in a socialist country things are not going to be handed to you on a silver platter.  Bill Gates didn't get to where he is now sitting around doing nothing he worked his butt off and he deserves every penny he made, he didn't have a lot of money to start with either.  That's capitalism that is what makes this country great.  You can become wealthy if you work at it.

Like a previous poster, the only way to have peace and hope is through JESUS CHRIST.

Well what you need to do is ask God for forgiveness in your life since you put yourself into a deep place, since remember that God said the root of all evil is money. since that did not come from him but it came from this World. since the ruler of this world is the Devil since we humans gave up our rights to this world when Adem & Eve want against Gods word  and listen to  Satan. that is also why Jesus said that this world hates him because he is not from this world.

But we are the Children of God  and we do have some power over the Devil with the Holy Ghost.  also i got email something funny from the left behind series what was asking if God cares that we are poor, and i found out the meaning to that is to be graceful for what we have, and to appreciate everything that God has given us..

Yeah God knows we are in tough times  but remember that these things must happen before the 2nd coming of Christ return, did you hear about that earthquake in China that killed all those peoples. well  i think that is one of the signs of Christ return as earthquakes are happening every where in this world now.

Also must have heard of a possible WWIII  since this is the 2nd warning from the US..  that to is in the Bible where there will be a Nuclear  War that will be the worst  of all time. plus  Russia and China has  that will attack the US if  we attack Iran so as you can see WWIII is coming. so wll we can do is ask God for forgiveness and live the way he wants us too

On the political level, this country will fall even worse than it

has already if Obama is elected president. I am not saying

McCain is perfect, but Obama is a socialist and with someone like him in office expect gas to go to 8 to 10 dollars a gallon!

On the personal level, the only way to survive all this is to put

your hope in Jesus Christ. Coming to Him and repenting of

our sins and having a relationship with Him,, will be the only

way to have true peace amidst this mess that is happening

and that will get worse if Obama is elected.
