United States = an immigrant country?

Why United States is full of immigrants??

It is ridiculous to say that the US is an "immigrant country" as if it were distinct from any other place in the world. The native americans were themselves immigrants who displaced an earlier population. Every spot on earth was populated through immigration and displacement of "native" populations.
