United States hockey all set to celebrate the future of their hockey in All Prospects game
Jim Johannson, USA Hockey's assistant executive director of hockey operations would be very happy as one of his biggest dreams will come true and he will achieve the things he had wanted to so long, when United States All Star Prospects Game will take place.
The game will take place at First Niagara Centre on Saturday and it will be featuring around 40 top players which are born in USA and are all eligible to be a part of 2013 NHL Draft. It would be inaugural, first game of its kind.
48-year-old former ice hockey forward congratulated whole country and asked them to celebrate this victory of US hockey all over the country as their young generation is now getting a chance to show their skills and prove infront of everyone. He also reminded
that their hardwork has paid off, as he said,
"This game literally has been in the works for quite a few years… It's time for USA Hockey to celebrate our prospects, and celebrate our game across the country."
Six players, who are part of this game are recognised by NHL Central Scouting and have got their names in it. Seth Jones, a defenseman from Portland Winterhawks is on the top of that league.
Other players in Central Scouting and part of the game are J.T. Compher and Hudson Fasching, forwards of the U.S. National Team Development Program, Michael Downing of the Dubuque Fighting Saints and, defensemen Ian McCoshen Waterloo Black Hawks and Luke
Johnson of the Lincoln Stars.

When asked if this match would take American hockey to the next level, Johannson was pretty much optimistic and also happy at the same time that they are all ready to go finally and building hockey US perfectly, as he said,

"I think so. But I'm also glad that we took the time we took to have this game, because I think we're more prepared and more ready for it now. It fits in with everything that we're building in USA Hockey. It's worked out well that this event is now and was
not done four or five years ago without as much World Junior success both on and off the ice”.
