United States to witness David Price inaugural bout on March 24 – Boxing news
David Price, Britain’s number four heavyweight, has decided to adios his home town and enter the United States border to create havoc and challenge the reign of American pugilists.
Pricey is being reported as close to signing the deal with the French Josue Blocus for a clash on March 24, 2012.
Price, a 28-year-old who hails from Liverpool, has in a very short time gained much respect and accolades in his illustrious career. The young man’s fighting spirit has made him Britain’s fourth best heavyweight. Since 2009 the brawler has taken on 12 opponents
and has won all of his bouts emphatically in an aggressive and authoritative way.
The young man startled the whole boxing world by achieving a feat that not much have performed despite of winning, nailing and pinning several boxers. On January 21, 2012 Price stood in the squared ring against John McDermott, Britain’s number six heavyweight
and the man who had a huge 32-fight experience as compared to David.
The bell rang and the 12-round bout ended instantly in just the first round when at 1 minute and 13 seconds David threw a decisive blow knocking his heavy duty opponent out cold. Everyone looking at this impressive knockout whether sitting in the arena or
watching it on any available media immediately denoted David’s KO as 2012’s Knock out of the year.
By this impressive display of raw power David announced in front of the world aloud that he is ready to take on Tyson Fury for the British and Commonwealth heavyweight title. David, nicknamed as the Pricey has no other pugilist left of his calibre to take
on in Britain. The only man available for the bout was Tyson Fury.
After this win concerns started to pop out in the media foretelling the boxing lovers especially those hailing from Britain that Tyson-David clash might not happen. It was quoted by the masses that Tyson’s unbeatable and invincible win streak is severely
on the line against Davis since John’s swift annihilation by the young man opened the jaws of not only the critics but Tyson himself.
If Tyson loses the bout his chances to shine in the world heavyweight rankings and market will diminish drastically. On hearing such concerns David’s promoter clearly said that if Tyson does not take on David, there will be no option left other than leaving
Britain for United States.
The news is now confirmed and David has decided to enter the extremely lucrative and competitive market of States. Pricey will try to raise his price and value further by taking on the French Josue Blocus in a bout scheduled to take place at Atlantic City,
New Jersey.
The settlement between the two parties is almost close to finalisation. The 42-year-old French knockout specialist will try to nail David in a pay-per-view headlined by a clash between Mariusz Wach and Tye Fields.
