i honestly couldn't believe it when i heard this, i was expecting him to leave but not to Arsenal. I wish him all the luck at Arsenal and want to thank him for all the years he has been at the club, his first 3/4 seasons he was quality.

I just hope the Arsenal fans give him a chance he will bring some much needed experience to that side and i keep hearing that they don't need him because they've got Clichy, he's a very accomplished centre back as well and will provide excellent cover to a very young squad!

yes i suppose i never get used to seeing ex players in new strips , but we have a glut of great defenders and it wasn't fair to expect him to play reserve stuff. johnny evans was outstanding last night for NORN IRON and its hard to see were he can fit in.
