A 9 million pound bid is in the making for St Etienne’s highly rated player and the close of the transfer window might see the departure of another French sensation to England
The 17-year-old is deemed as one of Europe’s brightest young defenders to have emerged in recent times. The worth of the quality defender can be seen from the interest he generated from top flight clubs all across Europe.
Reportedly, Manchester United are preparing a 9 million pound bid for the French starlet and are all set to beat rival clubs to the signature of The Green’s man. The transfer window which ends on the 4th of next month might see the deal sealed
in the coming days.
Sensational display by Les Verts man has earned great admiration from Sir Alex and it is reportedly believed that if Manchester United does come with a 9 million pound bid, St Etienne will be left with no option but to accept the mammoth offer.
The central defender, who was only 16 last year when he made his way into the club’s starting lineup, enjoyed a very successful season as the highly rated defender went on to feature in 24 matches last season. The impressive run by the Lyon born player has
earned him great deal of admiration from all and sundry.
Not only did he pay dividends at St Etienne, Zouma has impressed at the national level too. His features in the under-19 circuit have earned him the recognition enough to be called upon by the national team in the near future.
The injury woes of the 19-time Premier league champions, Manchester United, have compelled them to look for recruits in the backline having already bought Alexander Buttner in this transfer window. The injury list has soared up over the time as Chris Smalling,
Jonny Evans, Phil Jones, and Rio Ferdinand all face sidelines.
The interest in Kurt Zouma however, has sent shockwaves in the transfer market as just a few days ago Sir Alex claimed that there will be no movement in and out at Old Trafford after having sealed Dutch left back, Alexander Buttner’s signature.
