Manchester United’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Gill has insisted that the Red Devils will continue to loan out its young players over the coming seasons.
The United executive went on to make these claims, as he looked to clear the air regarding any chances in policies at the club.
The likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Danny-Welbeck-c10233 and Tom Cleverley were both loaned out initially, before the duo went on to make their debuts for United in the Premier League.
This loan spell for the players managed to help them come to terms with life in the league, while helping them gain some much needed experience, with which they managed to establish themselves in the first team at Old Trafford.
Welbeck managed to have his breakthrough season this time around, as he score a very impressive twelve goals in forty appearances for the Red Devils.
On the other hand, Cleverly’s injuries restricted his appearances for the team, but the few appearances that he did make for the team, helped him come under the spot light and the United fans already look to the youngsters as one of the better players at
the club.
When talking about United and their loan policy, Gill is reported to have said: "It's always been a feature. We've done that for many years.”
"http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 and the coaching staff will work closely to try and place players in the right teams for their development.”
"We have seen that with people like Danny Welbeck and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tom-Cleverley-c35218 who have done very well and come back in after spells with other teams.”
"Let's see what happens but it's good for them and good for us."
With a number of youngsters coming up the youth academy at Old Trafford, it seems like this could be the best possible policy for the team.
Not only does this let the younger players secure first team football, but it also allows the team to get a better look at them playing and then helps them decide whether they want to keep a hold of them or not.
