Universal Adventure is a scam. Any other victims?

Hello, I’m from Canada and I received a call, after I fill out a form on the internet- saying "congratulations, you have been selected for a great vacation and then the girl (charline)explained about the trip: 3 days 2 nights - orlando FL @ calypso cay resorts.

After taking all my credit card info the operator confirmed what i’m getting and gave me a confirmation number and a customer service number -1-877-800-0688. Their website: http://www.universaladventureonline.com/

After the call I felt it was a scam an I started to make some search. I found a rip-riport related to th phone no 1877-800-0688 but nothing else. I still wanted to cancel the vaucher so I continued searching and I found others rip-reports related to th accomadation resorts Calypso cay and the one in bahamas. Meanwhile I had the proof that everything was a scam, they also refused to give me the money back. If you were a victim of Universal Adventure please seehttp://boakes.org/talk/topic/123. Anyone scammed by them?

Why on earth would you give someone who gave you an unsolicited call your credit card info????????????????????????

Call your credit card company and report it as a fraud and they will reverse the charges and any future charges they attempt to try. Let the credit card company handle it ... you can't by yourself.

Never give your account out to anyone over the phone especially when they call you .. you don't know who they are .... live and learn.

I just got something from them saying I owe them $700 and they were going to a collection agency.  or something. I talked to them on the phone had it reversed so I owe them nothing (pretty sure it's cause I called from work...a government phone number) 5 minutes later they call back asking me to remove the question on yahoo answers I had posted.  Then when I refused they made a fake account and answered the question.  Saying it was a "great" company. blah blah blah.

BTW. they are in so much sh*t with the government right now.  The owner of the company lied on her forms so she would be liable for less money when the company folded.  It's all c**p.  and when they called HER name came up, not the company name. hahaha how pathetic.

Oh they also claim that the fraud charges are lies that their competitors put out about them./ hahaha ya right. real companies don't waste their time with that ****.

i book about 2 travel packages a year because my husband cannot stand the cold weather up here. we recently just got back in april for our spring break and stayed at calypso cay resort. very nice. loved everything. the company was universal adventure and the women who booked us was nayla. what a sweet girl.
