Universal pandemic?

E.G. Genetic disease, Virus, Prion or antibiotic-reistant bacterium....?please tell me your thought on this and make up your prediction on these examples....basically make up one/

If you are interested in this type of thing read Flu by Gina Kolata.  It shows what happens when a pandemic happens for real. In my opinion the next pandemic will follow the trend of the entire 21th century. We will have a virus that will wipe out up to a third of the  people in a few months. The rested of the world will be incredibly frighten by the illness. Towns will be quarantined and entire families will die within days of each other.
