Universal racing seats???

Question

I have a Dautsaun 1983 280zx and i want to put racing seats in it. I found some universal racing seats but my unckle says you have to have the seats that say they are built for a 280zx. So, if i got universal seats with the universal sliders, would they work or do i have to find them fo the 280

Ditch the universal sliders unless you own a machine shop and can fabricate mounting brackets. Go to corbeau.com and buy the sliders that bolt right into your car.  You can still use the universal seats with the Corbeau sliders.  You will save yourself a lot grief.

yes they will work but you will need to modify the brackets.     p.s. have you ever thought of dropping a Chevy 350 into that car they fit nicely
