Universal remote problems?

The new remote works on the dvd and vcr, but i cant switch from one to the other ( i got a combo), and the power button won't shut either one off!! What gives?

Try programming the TV input Button:

-Slide mode switch at top pf remote to TV

-Press and hold mute and select until green light blinks twice

-Enter 9-6-0 on numeric keypad -green light should blink twice

After you program this button you should be able to switch between inputs, I wouldn't know if using a combo you're still able to switch inputs if you programmed the combo with only one code.

What you can do is using 2 different codes for dvd and vcr (separately)
