Universal studios hollywood???

Whose been their lately? how does the remodeling for the simpsons ride look so far??? any change than what it used to be before???

It depends how back is 'before.'

Here's a list of recent and upcoming events, starting from last year:

--Van Helsing (the haunted house) is now Universal's House of Horrors [it's basically the same path as VH but a room or two has been changed for the theme, such as Chucky's Playroom]

--Nickelodeon Blast Zone no longer carries a Nickelodeon theme. [The playground has been repainted/rethemed for Curious George]

--In Sept. 2007 Back to the Future closed (sadly) to be replaced by the Simpsons ride, which will operate the same as Future did [It's scheduled to open May 17. They recently finished constructing the entrance to the ride. If you'd like to see pictures of construction just visit insideuniversal.net]

--Fear Factor Live will end its run after this summer [no information yet on what will replace it]

--There are no longer Marvel superheroes going around the park

--New characters have been added to entertain guests: s****.-Doo & Shaggy; The Simpsons

--Lucy: A Tribute Exhibit has closed to changed into a USH museum

--Annual passes are now paper instead of plastic and require that you provide your fingerprint and a photo ID

Just went yesterday.  It looks like the front of the ride is done but the back is still covered with a huge tarp and scaffolds.  I could only see a Giant Krusty Head at the main entrance but the Kwik-E-Mart next to it is open and they sell Duff and Flaming Moe's drinks (they're both energy drinks)!!!

I was just there last week...the quickie mart looks cool but they don't let you see anything else...fun picture spot though cuz they painted a bunch of simpsons characters all around the wall that's covering up the remodel so everyone just poses next to and along with the characters in different situations
