  1. You will not be considered a mature student (I'm 21 myself and just starting uni now) and this year fee is £3145 per year for home students, but it goes up every year.

  2. You will have to pay fees but as you are a mature student your parent's income is not taken into account,

You will be able to get a student loan and a grant.

  3. If you are Welsh and going to study in Wales, you would get extra financial help of £1.225 towards the cost of fees. There are maintenance grants available, depending on household income whether you are Welsh or English towards living costs.

  4. everyone has to pay the uni fees.

I'm sure at 21 you are not considered a mature student, as you are the same age as some people will be when they leave so that's bit odd.

  5. yes they do, I'm going into my 2nd year and the fees have increased from 3,010 last year to 3,145 so it seems that they increase each academic year! But dont let that put you off, there is alot of funding available to help support you through out your studies.

  6. Everybody has to pay fees.

    Take a look at:

    http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/EducationAnd...

You will be a mature student for admissions purposes, however you will not be treated as a mature student for financial purposes.

  7. Depending on your income or your parents you may be in-titled to help I went to uni as a mature student and the local education authority paid my fees. I had a loan to cover living expenses that I got from the student loans company. There are also bursary's available from most unis that you can apply for.
