Ok, I've found some Universities, many of them overseas. I keep running across terms I'm really not at all familier with. Almost all of them are in the UK. I know some of them are US based also, but I'm not sure. Here's the list;

AA, GCSE, A-level, B-level, and Access. Thanks bunches and loatsas!

  1. AA - I can only assume this means Associate's Degree. This is more common in the United States and it awarded by mainly by Community and Junior Colleges upon completion of a course of study usually lasting about 2 years.

    GCSE - Stands for General Certificate of Secondary Education and it is what it says. It is a certifiate awarded to students in England, Wales and Northern Ireland who have completed High-School. Other countries also use this such as Gibraltar and South Africa but they mean the same thing regardless.

    A-Level - is short for Advanced Level, it is another certificate awarded to students in England, Wales and N.I. who have taken an optional 2-years of secondary school, usually called 6th form or college, after they have completed their GCSEs

    B-Level - I have never heard of.

    Access - I beleive this is the Access Program in the United Kingdom, it is a one year course for students who do not have or did not gain the necessary qualifications for entry into Higher Education.
