Ok so i just got back from college and didn't get the grades i need to get into my first choice Uni, so i went on to UCAS track just to make sure and this is what it says..

The current status of your Application is:

Congratulations! Your place at Leeds Metropolitan University (L27) to study Architecture (K100) has been confirmed.

Does this mean i have been accepter at the Uni? i mean it would be a bit strange because i needed 300 UCAS points to get in but i only got 260.

Now does this mean i have been accepted or does this just mean that they know i have applied and will send me my rejection later?

  1. You've been accepted. It happened to 2 of my friends, they didn't quite make the grades, but the Universities still wanted them. Congratulations! But I would phone to make 100% sure.

  2. Yes, you have been accepted. They have decided to let you in anyway, universities will often still let you in on a near miss. Also, are there any points you might not have counted from an extra AS? I have an extra 50 points from an AS that go towards my total.

  3. I think that means you have been accepted, so congratulations!

Did you get an unconditional offer from that University? Don't worry too much, if UCAS says you are in, you're in!

If you are in any doubt, just contact your University and get them to confirm your place over the phone. Well done!
