Heyy,

I am aiming for BBB in my Alevels in chemistry maths and physics. Could i go to some leading universities with those grades, excluding oxford and cambridge obviously! and would i be able to do a maths or science based course with those results?

Many thanks!

  1. Yes, you could get into leading universities with those grades. Your subjects are strong so I'd recommend looking into some of the less popular science-based courses, because a lot of good universities would probably offer BBB for them. Investigate some of the top 30 unis like Glasgow and Cardiff and I also seem to remember that Edinburgh has some science courses that are less popular. Chemistry at some places is very under-applied for, while Biological Anthropology (offered at fewer unis than social anthropology) is often a BBB course.

  2. You generally need all As to get into Oxford or Cambridge (remember you can only apply to one of them, not both), however, a lot also rests on the interview process so you can't say it's an impossibility.

You don't necessarily have to exclude them.

  3. The website should give you entry requirements for the course you want to apply for.
