University exchange: do I have to speak the language?

I'm thinking of doing an exchange during my 3rd year of undergraduate studies, in Korea (SNU or Yonsei) or in Japan.

I don't speak either language, but are the courses offered in the bilateral exchange in English, or in the host language?

It depends... Some foreign universities are bilingual; others aren't. Check out the universities in those countries that are partnered with the one you're currently attending. Their websites should be English also if they are partners, and you'll be able to find the language of instruction with a bit of digging.
