University in NY?

Question

Does anyone know any sites i could look that would be really helpful for me because i live in Toronto, Canada, and i am trying to study in NY.

But i just need somewhere to start my research..

Go to www.collegeboard.com and set up an account. It was the most helpful website when I was applying to colleges. It has checklists and reminders and you can save lists of the colleges you're interested in. It also gives information about costs, statistics, requirements etc. It's the most reliable.

You can also go to princetonreview.com. There are excellent comments for students that go there.

It helps to call the universities you're most interested in. That way they know your name and can send you information.

Some excellent universities in the state of NY (I've live in NYC all my life btw)

- New York University (very pricey but amazing)

- Columbia University (also in NYC)

- Fordham University

- St John's University

- University at Albany (in NY's state capitol - I go here)

- Union College

- Cornell

- Binghamton University

and the list goes on. I know ppl in all of the universities above and they are very happy there.
