is it possible to do my A levels at school in england, then move to america and go to university?

  1. Yes you can, but the American teaching is different


  2. Yes, absolutely, although what another poster said isn't correct. You will apply as a freshman, not as a transfer student. Transfer admissions is only for someone who's already been to university. Freshman admissions is for people who have not been to uni.

    You may be given some advanced credit, or waived out of some classes, due to your A levels, if you do well on them. But this depends on the university.

    No matter what, you will usually need to take the SAT exam as well as do your A levels. The SAT exam is a college entrance exam. You can take it in the UK, or in the US.  

  3. Sure, but keep in mind American schools cost much more than those in the UK.

  4. umm i think so....u could apply as a transfer student then instead of a incoming freshmen..but i'm not positive...it might depend on the school u wanna go to....so check with them..
