  1. Hi

Quite a few universities in the UK offer Aeronautical Engineering (Bath, Bristol, Brunel, City, Coventry, London, Liverpool to name but a few). The course appears to be a minimum of 4 years at most universities. I can not check the requirements for the course as I do not know what you studied in Colombia. However, i do know that you will need a qualification in English Language as this is not your first spoken language. What you need to do is look at www.ucas.co.uk and type in exactly what you want to do, what uni you want to go to, when you want to start etc. When you have all of this sorted out you will need to phone ucas on 0871 468 0 468, open Monday to Friday, 08:30-18:00 (UK time) and explain to the admissions exactly what qualifications you do have and then see if you are eligible for the course. If you apply through ucas then you can track your application online. Good Luck!

  2. Well the first good news for you is that as an EU Citizen you will be paying the same fees as UK Citizens, capped at the moment at £3145 pounds a year.

The basic qualification required for most undergaduate courses are A Level qualifications or their recognised equivalent from the country in which you have studied. A Levels are the typical qualifications done by students aged 18 in the UK, to give you some idea of their level. Contact UCAS if you are unsure as to whether your qualifications are equivalent to A Levels. If you are not English, you will be expected to have some sort of qualification proving fluency in English.

If you do not have this level of qualification, you may be able to apply for a 'foundation degree'. These will typically be shorter degrees which you can then upgrade to an honours degree, the standard 3-5 year degree in the UK.
