University of South Africa?

I was wondering if getting a degree in (BA) Psychology and communications from unisa is as just as good as getting a degree from the likes of the university of johannesburg or WITS?

Not worth the paper they are written on in the civilised West. Check it out.Australia,Canada,UK,New Zealand Us etc no longer accept South African qualifications since the education has been dumbed down to allow the indigenous to pass.

Yeah is the same, but the question is "What are u gonna do with it"? I would advice u to select another degree if u want a job,There will be no doors open for u if u just do a BA in Psych...unless u are doing it for interest's sake!

Yip. I'm busy studying at UNISA myself and made sure that their degrees are equally recognised. GREAT place to study, terrible admin staff (aka, once you're passed registration you'll have a great time).

Your degree from UNISA is worthless. I know this for a fact. I have one and they won't recognise it. i also have a degree from WITS which is recognised. I am not the only person. Last year 2 guys wanted to work overseas, both of them I know well, neither of their UNISA degrees were recognised.  Change to WITS if you can.
