  1. I'm not a life sciences student, but I am a commerce student at the University of Toronto, and from what I hear, the life sciences program is one of the hardest on campus. There is so much competition for marks (because a lot of the students will be competing for medical school) and the study times are pretty intense. So much so that a lot of undergrad health/life sci students decide to complete their undergrad studies elsewhere (ie. McMaster, Western, etc.) and then go to U of T for graduate studies.

However, it's not as if U of T is MORE difficult than other schools... you'll find that any science program at any school will provide SOME hardships. The thing about U of T is the competition, which will either make you even better, or lead to your failure.
