University question. extremely easy 10 points.?

there's this course offered in university,

it's like achiwary or something? i'm not sure.

it's like a business type of course, like accounting and fiance and human resources and stuff, but i'm not 100% sure what it is,

can you please tell me the correct name and what exactly is that job, and how many years of university would it take.

and also, if i was starting university for the first time, what would be some good school supplies to take with me to school?

I think you mean actuarial science. Look at the Wikipedia link. Take it only if you're pretty good in math.

Also for the first day take the usual stuff: 1 notebook for each class, mechanical pencil, lead refills, a standard scientific calc. A good lunch won't hurt either. Buy your textbooks early though, the lineups can be horrendous.
