Unknown Animal babies

Question

I just found 4 little babies(animals) outside on my porch. No other animal was around, and they look like they were just born. They look like a baby hamster, but with a tail. What animal is this?

I put them in a box, and covered them with a piece of cloth. What else should I do?

I don't want them to die, How can i feed them?

Hi, they sound like baby mice or rats!! I'm not sure what you should feed them, I'm sorry, but I have to credit you for taking them in and looking after them!! Good luck.

(maybe try baby milk)

can you post up a picture? It's hard to give you any advice when you don't know what the babies are.

Pictures, what state do you live in?

Were they  cold when you picked them up?

Your a good mom so far..take them to a vet and ask..maybe they will keep them for you.Unless you wish to raise them , whatever they are  :   )

Ok these may be

Mice

rats

chipmunks

squirrels!

Hurry you may wanna take them to the vet!They wanna raise them if you do that would be cool!!!!and keep up the good motherly work!

            tip!Feed them some warrm milk on a bottle!And please post a pic to let us see them!!!

they are squirrels! You will need to go to the store and get milk and yougart and a one cc syring and a heating pad if you wish to keep them, it will be tough though they are very young . They still have about 6 or 7 weeks befor they have eyes and 2 to 3 months till they are off milk. Hi There! these animals could be chipmunks, squirrels or field mice. if you wish to raise them than you should immediatly buy KMR at your local petstore with a syringe at your local pharmacy. feed them one drop each or two and wipe their anuses witha warm cottonball till they go to the bathroom.
